The neck is wider at the nut than the Epi or the Gretsch at 1 3/4" so there is room to move around. It's a 25.5" scale and with the maple construction, its quite snappy. The bridge was very clean with a lot of highs and a nice bite. The buckers were both voiced differently. Nice low action (not crazy low) but no buzz anywhere. Nice tulip head tuners, real screws on the polepieces, nice tight pots, etc.įazio's (the dealer) sets guitars up before they put them out and this one was a dream. The hardware was all nickel plated and a cut above what I've seen on the other Chinese stuff. Sunburst even on the back, the back of the neck and back of the headstock. The body is thin and has a spruce center block so its light and doesn't feed back much. I was down to choosing betwen oe of the Epis or the Gretsch but this thing changed my mind. I've been shopping hard for an archtop lately.
